I’ve lived in Croatia for over 20 years and know firsthand what surprises a new language environment can bring. That’s exactly why my mission is to make your adaptation smoother, more comfortable, and free from those ‘Oops, I got a bit lost there!’ moments.

For me, lectures are another way of bringing cultures closer together. For many years, I gave free public lectures in Croatian on history of Russia, and in recent years — a separate course on history of Ukraine.
History is a complex and often contradictory field, but in my lectures I always tried to present facts I consider undisputed. I presented my interpretations and links to other events as possible versions, always mentioning alternative perspectives as well.
Analysing events, exploring cause-and-effect in the historical process, and trying to view everything through a scientific and historical lens — that was my approach to building these lectures. They attracted 50–60 people each time, and I still keep in touch with many of the attendees.
